People generally supportive of a smart contract security group SPE, as security is a high priority and a good use of public funds. While this is different than the security committee, it would likely include security committee members, and also take leadership of the goal of decentralizing control of the security committee.

Can ideas be funded? Yes, ideas for SPEs can be funded. Though two thoughts. 1) SPEs at the idea stage may request a small amount of initial funding to hit initial milestones, and then come back to the treasury for more funding. 2) The Grants SPE is open to giving microgrants to teams that intend to propose SPEs to fund the initial research and proposal phase.

The treasury is already open for applications on chain, though SPEs are definitely recommended to build some support first through the forum and participating in community calls.

Pudgy Penguins is an NFT pfp project on Ethereum that was launched in July 2021 and purchased by Luca in April 2022 for 750 ETH, or around $2.5M USD.

Pudgy Penguins is really the only NFT project to have reached the mainstream in any meaningful way, with their figurines and plushies now being sold in Walmart stores across the country.

They’ll also be debuting a couple of new things they’ve been working on soon, namely Overpass and Pudgy World, which Luca shares more about in this episode.

I reside in Costa Rica, and while my native language is Spanish, I am a cartographer by profession, a craft that I consider an art form in itself. I've always enjoyed the act of creation, dedicating time to continually learn and strengthen my skills.

In the realm of photography, I align with minimalism. My musical and other artistic expressions lean towards psychedelia. I create all my work using open-source software like GIMP for photos, LMMS for beat production, and, in AI-generated art, I leverage technology that is freely available at the time.

Previously, finding space for artistic growth was challenging, but Lens has been a tremendous motivator, driving me to generate meaningful art. I look forward to contributing valuable art to the ecosystem and collaborating with fellow members of this wonderful community.
